2020 is the time for change and reflection. It is important to realize the factors at play. Even though some progress has been made, explicit and implicit racism still exists.

Rodnesha Ross – Founder at Youth Community Agency

Born in Detroit, MI, Ms. Ross was inspired by her stepfather to pursue photography at a very young age.

She was granted an internship with the Detroit Free Press Newspaper at the age of fifteen and everything transpired from there! Soon after this internship, Ms. Ross was hired as the youngest full-time photographer to be on staff!

After graduating from high school she moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College to chase her dreams! Shortly after college and a few internships, Ms. Ross traveled back to Detroit to establish her business in the area of arts.

The first company she established was Mogul Life Inc., which focuses on small business solutions is the parent company of Pray Hustle Slay, Youth Community Agency, and publisher for her first book entitled, “Confessions of Restoration,” which is a book of testimonies to motivate and help navigate others through things in life we experience.

Trenity Dobbey – Life Coach at T3 Life Coaching

Trenity K. Dobbey has over 10 years of professional experience. Ms. Dobbey currently works at the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center where she manages the city-wide and surrounding area response unit to allegations of child sexual and physical abuse.

She has always aspired to work with victims and families who have experienced trauma in providing support and guidance through times of difficulty.

Ms. Dobbey has received her bachelor’s degree in behavioral and social sciences, a master’s degree in criminal justice as well as receiving her certificate of completion in life coaching.

Ms. Dobbey has received awards to acknowledge her commitment to the children and families she serves, being active alumni of her high school and community as well-being acknowledged as empowerment coach of the year.

She is also the co-author of The Plan C: A comprehensive workbook which is a go-to guide for professional or aspiring coaches looking to grow their coaching business.

Ms. Dobbey has traveled internationally to speak at various conferences and facilitate workshops for businesses and entrepreneurs.

Ms. Dobbey has had many professional and personal experiences that have fueled her drive and determination to help individuals tap into their potential and go to the next level. She also utilizes her personal and professional experiences and educational background to work with individuals and groups by way of individualized plans, workshops, and public speaking to empower them to make better decisions and live better lives.

Roderique McClain – Author & Police Officer

Roderique McClain, is an author, police Officer, active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and the 100 Black Men of Chicago.

He has a BA from Cumberland College, an MBA from St. Xavier University and is the founder of Rod Speaks.

He defines himself through his life’s purpose; a commitment to serve. He is an active mentor both on his own and with the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Organization.

Roderique speaks to youth often in and around the Chicagoland area. Service permeates every aspect of his being and overflows in the area of communication. Committing to service through communication has been tantamount to success in his life.

All of his life’s experiences become points of reference to empower, enlighten, motivate, cultivate, and calm others.
